Characterisation: This seemingly ageless goal machine has continued to produce the goods on the pitch long after his demise was predicted. A veteran of many World Cups, although now restricting himself to just two games a weekend, the Scotsman has also shown himself more than competent in any position on the field. This fact was underlined when he himself selected his All-time Greatest Ever Logica XI and modestly included himself eleven times.
