Player: Malcolm Dick

Supporting Role: Arsenal & England

Characterisation: Oft cited as the Herbert Chapman of the modern era, Dick's career did not really take off until he relinquished an overly optimistic striking role to become the first 'cultured libero' in Logica history. The rock on which the all-conquering side of the late eighties was built, Dick has left his mark on many an opposing striker's calves down the years. Despite retiring to pursue an interest in Cabal Management, Dick is still available to deliver the occasional lesson to an agog Pup audience.
